Returns Policy – Outdoor Blinds Online

All our products are custom-made to your specifications, so you cannot cancel your order once it has been accepted and production has commenced.

However, we strive to ensure you have a positive experience:

  • If you change your mind before dispatch, contact us as soon as possible.
  • If production can be halted, we may refund you minus any costs incurred (e.g., materials, labour).
  • This cannot be guaranteed once manufacturing has started.

Upon Delivery

You have 7 days from delivery to:

  • Examine the goods carefully.
  • Notify us of any damage, defects, or missing parts (e.g., blinds, brackets, fittings).

We are not liable for:

  • Marks, holes, scratches, or defects caused by misuse or general wear and tear.
  • Issues arising from negligence, improper installation, or incorrect cleaning methods.

Defective Goods

If your goods are defective on delivery, you are entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), depending on whether the defect is major or minor.

Possible remedies include:

  • Replacement
  • Repair within a reasonable time
  • Credit or refund
  • Compensation for foreseeable loss or damage as required under the ACL

If we provide a refund or replacement, we will collect the goods at our cost, and you must allow reasonable access for collection.


Warranty & Returns Process

To activate your warranty:

  1. Contact us using the details below.
  2. Arrange the return of goods with the original sales invoice and receipt.
  • Outdoor Blinds Online covers transport costs for the first 12 months of the warranty period.
  • After 12 months, you are responsible for returning the defective goods.
  • As our office cannot receive large packages, we will instruct you where to send the goods.

Important Notes

  • This warranty is not transferable.
  • Our goods come with non-excludable guarantees under Australian Consumer Law:
    • You are entitled to replacement or refund for major failures and compensation for foreseeable loss or damage.
    • You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to meet acceptable quality and the failure is not major.
