1. Who we are & scope of products

1.1 Outdoor Blinds Online (“we”, “us”, “our”) manufactures and sells custom, made‑to‑measure outdoor blinds via our website [www.outdoorblindsonline.com.au]

1.2 By accessing the Site or placing an order, you (“you”, “customer”) agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). A legally binding contract is formed when we accept your order in writing (e.g., order confirmation/acceptance email) or when we accept payment - whichever occurs first.

2. Ordering custom outdoor blinds

2.1 Orders are made via the Site’s checkout process or any other method we expressly permit (e.g., written quote acceptance). We’ll acknowledge receipt of your order; acceptance occurs upon our acceptance email or receipt of payment.

2.2 Made‑to‑measure: All products are manufactured to your specifications. Please follow our measurement guides and installation instructions carefully; accurate measurements are essential for a proper fit. (We’ll provide measurement resources on the Site.)

2.3 Order changes & cancellations: Because products are custom‑made, once manufacturing commences, orders cannot be cancelled or changed. If you need to cancel or change, notify us as soon as possible - we may be able to assist if production has not started. If permitted, cancellation may involve reasonable costs already incurred.

3. Pricing, payment & GST

3.1 Prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. You must pay the total price displayed at checkout (including any delivery fees) at the time of ordering.

3.2 We accept the payment methods indicated at checkout. Your payment details are processed via encrypted channels provided by our payment processor(s). We do not store full credit card details on our systems.

4. Delivery, risk & title

4.1 Delivery: We deliver Australia‑wide using our nominated carriers. Estimated production and delivery timeframes will be shown or communicated during checkout/confirmation; these are estimates and may vary due to supply, logistics, and peak periods.

4.2 Risk & title: Title to goods passes to you on full payment. Risk of loss or damage passes to you on delivery to the address you provide or on collection.

4.3 Inspection on delivery: Please inspect goods upon delivery. Notify us promptly within 7 days of delivery of transport damage or missing items so we can arrange replacements or rectification per our warranty/ACL obligations.

5. Colour, fabric & component variations

5.1 Due to monitor/device settings, lighting, fabric batches and finishing processes, minor colour/texture variations may occur between samples, online images and the finished product. This is normal for textile manufacturing. Where feasible, order fabric samples before purchasing.

6. Measurements, installation & suitability

6.1 Customer measurements: You are responsible for ensuring measurements are accurate and suitable for your installation surface/location. Our guides aim to help you measure correctly, but final responsibility rests with you.

6.2 DIY installation: We provide installation guidance; you are responsible for safe, compliant installation, including the use of appropriate fixings for your structure/materials and adherence to local building rules.

7. Promotions, discounts and gift cards

7.1 Unless specified, promotions/discounts apply to selected products for stated periods and cannot be combined with other offers. We may set reasonable exclusions (e.g., certain motorisation accessories, delivery fees) and will state them clearly in promotional materials.

7.2 We may adjust or withdraw promotions at our discretion, consistent with consumer law. Price‑match or price‑drop guarantees, if offered, will be governed by their specific terms.

8. Limitation of liability

8.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use or installation of the product, except where such limitation would contravene the ACL or other applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits your non‑excludable statutory rights

9. Intellectual property & website use

9.1 All content on the Site (including images, text, logos, product descriptions, guides and software) is our intellectual property or used under licence. You may view the Site for personal shopping purposes but must not reproduce, distribute or exploit content without permission.

9.2 You must not engage in scraping, data mining, or any activity that interferes with Site operation or security.

10. Privacy & data protection

10.1 We manage personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, secure and allow access/correction of your personal information.

10.2 Key APP principles include transparent management, limits on collection/use/disclosure, direct marketing rules, cross‑border disclosure safeguards, data quality/security, and rights of access/correction.
